This place is very cool and worked out well for our family! We used the kitchen/dining/living room area the most. The outside area was more than we expected. Fire pit was great. The pond, water flowing and fish ladders were awesome! Nice short walks to some peaceful scenery. We would recommend for large groups! The hosts were very accommodating and quick to respond to questions.

Our group had a great time and loved the place. The backyard was one of the favorites and the house had everything you could imagine/want. The host was very responsive and nice. I would recommend it to anyone. Worth the money. Would book again in the future!

We loved the house. We lived in a 16th Century property in the UK, and so this property was right up our street, the quirkiness, the split levels, the way it had been decorated, it was all super cool. Sitting on the little balcony with the sound of the water at the end of the garden was heaven.

This place was great and well maintained. It’s in a central location and a short drive to small towns and stores / restaurants. The house is very spacious and clean. The hosts were very communicative and responsive to any questions asked. This is a nice location with a very relaxing atmosphere.

Our first impression of the house was “how big is this place?!” It was like a maze at first with rooms and beds galore! 8 of us stayed for almost a week the house could have easily accommodated another 8. There were 5 super comfortable king sized beds, 1 queen, 2 twin beds. Each room had its own charm and character. The game room and theater room were hits with everyone. We had many air hockey battles, our 7yr old became a pro! There is literally a television in every single room! The patio next to the kitchen was so peaceful overlooking the stream. The backyard was a bit smaller than the pictures showed but still very beautiful and relaxing. The hosts, Roseanne and Doug checked in with us multiple times and quickly responded to our messages throughout the stay. The house was neat and clean. It looks like the hosts own other properties and based on pictures they offer similar wonderful amenities. We would love to stay here again if we travel to Maine and their other properties.

A perfect place to stay for a winter getaway weekend with my daughters and grandkids. The location was beautiful, and everything about this charming home was all we could ask for. The game room was a huge hit, and I got two thumbs up from the kids. The theater room was so relaxing and the perfect way to end the day. The kids ages 12, 10 and 7 enjoyed the entire layout so well, they are starting to design their own family room space to be just like it. Rosanne communicated from the time I booked through departure. The charm and character in this old store transformed into a beautiful place to stay fit perfectly with our style. We couldn't have picked a more perfect place to spend our getaway. The kids are already asking when we can go back. Thank you for providing a family oriented magical place to share.

Great place to stay, especially for kids. The game room and theatre were a big hit, and they loved the candy bar. The hot tub was great to relax in and watch the pond with the ducks.
